Employee Spotlight: Ai-Van Nguyen

Where do you live and where do you grow up?

I currently reside in Reston, VA, but I grew up in Henrico, VA.

When did you join Dignari?

September 2022.

What drew you to work at Dignari? Is there a cultural attribute that you think makes Dignari unique?

I've always liked working for a smaller company. I feel like in a smaller organization, you can have a stronger impact with your contributions.

What do you love about your job?

As I child I was always breaking things and now I have translated that into a career! As a tester, I love that I am able to upkeep the functionality of my application.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?

I love to sing and as a child I always wanted to become a singer

What do you like doing when you aren’t working?

I like to hike in the fall, and go to music festivals in the summertime.

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I was in a sorority when I was in college and it was one of the best decisions I've made. Throughout that experience I was able to create many memories and meet some lifelong friends.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?

I would say the beach! But anywhere with my friends would be good enough with me; I think as long as you have good company anywhere would be fun to be!

What is on your bucket list?

I really want to do a month-long trip to Asia and travel to different countries.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

Living is the art of getting used to what we didn't expect!
