EMERGING TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION

embrace your inner crazy one, misfit, or rebel

Here’s the problem

Given the rapid pace of innovation and the increased demand to modernize, organizations are often faced with conflicting mission objectives—how to innovate while still meeting existing operational demands.

Why we can help

Dignari has a long history of working with emerging technology integration. Our lead architects and engineers have been at the forefront of industry throughout the evolution of challenging technologies such as biometrics, smart cards, identity management, PKI, and most recently cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

We understand how to balance the risk of immature technology with the promise of transformational innovation. We are a company rooted in software development with technical leadership and we understand how to align a client’s mission with right-fit technology.

This is how we do it

Dignari’s Emerging Technology Integration team sits at the intersection of business owners, technology O&M providers, and industry.

  • We provide research and development capabilities for mission owners who are curious about emerging technology and how it might fit within their unique environment.

  • We provide application development capabilities to augment production delivery teams with common components and best practices.

  • We provide deployed solutions for experimentation and analysis in an effort to identify and refine technical opportunities for the client’s organization.

Dignari Easley™

Dignari’s Easley methodology is our approach for successful implementation of emerging technologies using strategic planning, test-driven analysis, and rapid prototyping techniques in strict alignment to our client’s unique mission.

New technology is great, but does it truly fit within your operational domain?

Why do we call it Easley?

Lasting Impact

Annie Easley fought against discrimination throughout her life and went on to become an influential mathematician and computer scientist with NASA. She was on the front line of space research and subsequent space missions that began with the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit in 1962. She was one of NASA’s human computers similar to the movie Hidden Figures and went on to work on batteries, including studies on battery-powered vehicles similar to modern hybrid cars. Her most famous work was on the Centaur rocket. The Centaur was a first-of-its-kind rocket that laid the foundation for missions and technologies long into the future.

Dignari Easley

Respond to your constantly evolving environment in strategic and unique ways. Our Dignari Easley™ methodology allows our clients to quickly assess capabilities, rapidly prove operational application of emerging technology, and incrementally bring value to your end users.

Dignari Easley™ finds the point of convergence between your mission needs and novel technologies that are gaining traction within industry. We analyze emerging technology not only to understand the stated claims from vendors but also to assess its consistency with your specific requirements.

Dignari Easley™ is a lean startup-based methodology that establishes a robust framework, based on validated learning through experiments, intended to test each element of the client’s mission.

Why it’s successful

A key reason for our success in leveraging this approach is our continuous active engagement with the stakeholders and mission owners. We believe in the benefits of incremental value delivered quickly to the hands of the end users throughout all phases.

We are not a product company. Our objective is not to develop an infrastructure that tries to fit a specific product into a defined mission space, but rather to understand the mission space and allow that to drive the optimal solution through the assessment of a variety of technologies and platforms.

We believe in creating an end solution that focuses on best overall value to our client while providing maximum scalability and flexibility to adapt to new technologies, products, and mission requirements over time.

Let’s get to work

Dignari embraces the idea that the best design decisions ultimately come from those who live the business. As a result, we develop a partnership with our clients throughout the prototype process, soliciting their input and feedback while moving the solution development through the major phases of work. Leveraging principles of scrum and Kanban, along with the desire to field minimally viable products, provides our clients the ability to safely fail fast while rapidly refining the product for business and mission fit.
