Employee Spotlight: Adrian Rey

Where do you live, and where did you grow up?

I grew up in Tampa, Florida and recently moved to Frederick, Maryland.

When did you join Dignari?

September 2023.

What drew you to work at Dignari? Is there a cultural attribute that makes Dignari unique?

I joined Dignari because it was a remote position and allowed me to have the work/life balance and the flexibility I was looking for. This is my first time working in the government contracting space; prior to this, I spent many years working in the financial industry.

What do you love about your job?

One thing I love about my job is the latitude with which Dignari empowers me to accomplish taskings and projects. Unlike previous experiences, there is no micromanagement from managers and leadership.

What would you do (for a career) if you weren't doing this?

If I could do anything other than my current job, I would love to be a museum curator or blacksmith.

What do you like doing when you aren't working?

My hobbies include watching sports (football, hockey, and basketball), board games, and tabletop games. Once my ankle heals from a recent injury, I hope to get back into hiking!

What's a fun fact about you that many people may not know?

I am double-jointed in my fingers!

Where's your favorite place in the world?

A tiny home cabin in Georgia I stayed at on vacation.

What is on your bucket list?

Items on my bucket list include visiting Japan and living in Montana.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra?

“It is what it is.”
