Dignari Appraised at Level 3 for CMMI-SVC and CMMI-DEV
Dignari today announced that multiple programs have been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for both Services and Development. The appraisal was performed by Steel Toad Consulting.
CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.
The programs appraised at CMMI level 3 highlight some of the advanced work Dignari performs. This includes an extensive systems engineering assessment of multiple mission critical business applications for our client, leveraging our experience with enterprise systems and cloud services to document the existing environment, identify a target architecture, and define a comprehensive cloud migration strategy. Our appraisal also highlights our application development capabilities to include not only a robust and repeatable agile development methodology but also the Dignari built and managed Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) capabilities using cloud platforms and modern application frameworks.
